A disarming trend

Let's be frank. There have been an alarming number of injuries among the pitchers in the Yankees system this year. Look at the list right now:

SCRANTON
Pat Venditte
Matt Daley

TRENTON
Graham Stoneburner
Josh Romanski
Craig Heyer
Cory Arbiso

TAMPA
Jose Ramirez
Reiner Casanova
Nik Turley -- not on the DL yet, but he had blister issues yesterday and seems headed there

CHARLESTON
Jose Campos
Zach Varce
Zachary Arneson

Additionally, Manny Banuelos and Matt Tracy also spent time on the shelf. And that's only the pitchers. Walter Ibarra, Gustavo Molina, Zoilo Almonte, Dan Brewer, Jose Pirela, David Adams, Austin Romine, Slade Heathcott and Anderson Feliz have also missed time this year.

I'm not sure there's any more to this than just a string of seriously bad luck, but it certainly looks bad. What say you, readers?

All teams and sports have more injuries and longer recoveries. Some is greater caution. Wasn't Zoilo's hamstring supposed to be a minor strain?

It means the Yankees farm system is certainly not on HGH.

Cashman has to be fired right now!
It's ridiculous that he gets away with all these injuries!
