The New York-Penn League opened on Monday night. I was on hand for Staten Island vs. Brooklyn, which showcased some of the Yankees' newest draftees (Mike O'Neill, Brandon Thomas, Derek Toadvine, John Murphy) and some older farmhands (Yeicok Calderon, Bubba Jones, Francisco Rosario, Isaias Tejeda).
