NOTES: Outfielder Shane Brown is here. He was hitting .241 with no homers and five RBIs for Tampa. ... It appears that Gustavo Molina has exited stage right, but the announcers are being coy. ... Speaking of those announcers, Josh Maurer noted earlier that the Thunder have been tied in the ninth inning of each of their last eight games. ... Interesting quirk in the ballpark. The lobby contains two Taylor Swift plaques. Apparently she's from around here and sang the anthem at the ballpark, once when she was 9 and again in 2007. Pretty neat, I think.

UPDATE - 6:00: So, when we talked to him, Shane Brown had been here for 10 minutes. He was alerted to his promotion after he had packed his things for the bus ride to Jupiter, Fla., where the T-Yanks are scheduled to play the Hammerheads this evening.

Gustavo Molina has indeed been bumped to Scranton, where he'll fill in for the injured Craig Tatum. That leaves Jose Gil and Jeff Farnham (and, in an emergency, Addison Maruszak) to do the catching for Trenton. ... International scouting head Pat McMahon is still here.
