NOTES: Assistant Director of Baseball Operations Billy Hart is at the ballpark. ... Caleb Cotham is still here. That comes despite me being told last night that he was on his way to Triple-A. From what I can make out, that was the plan, but the plan got changed when Cody Eppley successfully passed through waivers and was assigned to fill the roster spot vacated by Preston Claiborne. ... Over his last 10 games, J.R. Murphy is hitting .348. ... Over his first nine innings with Trenton, Jose Ramirez, who goes tomorrow against Mets stud Rafael Montero, has allowed just three hits and has fanned a dozen.
Update - 4:49: The Thunder just announced that they will be retiring former player David Eckstein's number on Wednesday. Eckstein will be on hand for a pre-game ceremony and will sign autographs on the concourse. He'll join Tony Clark and Nomar Garciaparra as the only three players to have their jerseys hung above the luxury suites.
