Adams hits the DL; Luke Murton activated

(Trenton, NJ) The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced today that INF Luke Murton has been activated from the team's disabled list and INF David Adams has been placed on the DL (retroactive to 4/12) with neck stiffness.  Murton has been rehabbing in extended spring training and will be in the lineup Saturday afternoon at Akron.  He led the Tampa Yankees in RBIs in 2011.  The team is still expected to play with 24 active players at Akron this afternoon.

-- END PRESS RELEASE --

To review, after seven games, the Thunder have placed a starting pitcher, a starting catcher, their starting first baseman, their starting second baseman and a utility infielder. That is quite something, I think.
