Romulo Sanchez, Kei Igawa and Mark Melancon combined to hold the Bisons to one run over nine innings, but Jonathan Albaladejo couldn't keep them at bay. He took the loss in the eleventh inning. Juan Miranda and Eduardo Nunez each had doubles in the loss, and Colin Curtis had an RBI. Box score.

Adam Warren and Pat Venditte combined for a one-hit shutout of the Flying Tigers on Saturday night. The pitchers fanned four apiece and allowed just a walk otherwise. Sean Black got hit hard in his full-season debut, and RiverDogs fell to the Legends. Black allowed four runs (two earned) in five innings while walking four and fanning two. Francisco Rondon and Ronny Marte each allowed two runs in an inning of work. Raymond Kruml, Taylor Grote, Rob Lyerly and Kelvin Castro each had two hits in the loss. Garrison Lassiter stole a base.
